A research initiative by the Center for Society, Law & Justice at the University of New Orleans in co-operation with the Office of Justice Programs Bureau of Justice Assistance


This project is designed to develop performance measurement tools that state and local justice agencies can use with information technology projects. Funded by a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, CSLJ is working closely with selected state level projects to support accountable, cost-effective and results-driven integration projects. Performance measures face methodological and analytical challenges. Intended project outcomes include working with the field to address methodological and analytical challenges of developing performance measures for justice agencies. Supported by a Project Advisory Group, CSLJ is using rapid application development process to identify and validate performance measurement tools appropriate for information sharing through juvenile and criminal justice integration projects.
