This two-day class is designed for justice information system professionals whose responsibilities resemble those of a public or private sector Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Three core competencies are addressed in this seminar.

  • Vision
  • Planning
  • Technology

Leadership is a key element, addressed within each core area.

Vision and Leadership concentrates on defining the components of justice enterprise architecture. You will actively map your agency’s system and perform an “as-is” and “to-be” analysis.

Planning and Leadership explores essential elements of the planning process, including the CIO leadership role as it applies to planning. You will develop a planning strategy using a case study.

Technology and Leadership provides resources and technical competency to enable justice professionals to create their own “Justice IT Survivor’s Guide.”
